Abstract :
An algorithm based on Four Nearest Neighborhood (4NN) method has been developed to get a colour coded image of the entire uterine activity during labour. A dedicated data acquisition system has been developed to pick up the uterine contractile potentials at 8 different positions of the uterus and 4NN technique has been applied to convert these 8 channels of information into a colour coded image of 320×320 pixels
