Abstract
For systems of recent automatic production it is typical that in its units the various technical realisation components occur integrated, and most of these in parts or in whole have mechatronic character. This means from the aspect of operating that we apply majority of various maintenance solutions. In the present work we will show that applied operating strategy is determined basically by requirements and constructional characteristics of the technical device. Characteristics of individual maintenance strategies will be discussed according to the operating process. We will analyse the effect of extent of damage and will discuss possibilities of its determination. Finally, in the essay we will briefly deal with the application of diagnostics, within this with the application of vibration diagnostics, which increases effectiveness of maintenance and reliability of mechatronic systems, too.
