Abstract :
Reflective raised pavement marker is one of the most important traffic safety facilities. But the high damage rate seriously affects its value. The research begins with the failure mechanism analysis of reflective raised pavement markers based on survey. A finite element analysis model is set up by using ANSYS and FE-SAFE to carried out mechanical analysis to simulate the stress concentration points, where is the most likely site of damage. The an improvement design of optimize the structure is given based on the conclusion.
