Abstract :
This paper outlines a method for assisting program comprehension by addressing the concept assignment problem. The method, termed tree-matching object concept assignment, uses information gathered from program execution to assign plausible object concept to source code. The candidate concepts are selected from knowledge base. An evaluation of prototype system has shown that the method can accurately recognize object concepts in a range of real-world programs
