Abstract :
Yangtze River waterway is an important basic infrastructure of logistics and shipping development for Yangtze River Basin, which is helpful to Yangtze River Basin economy. This paper applies principal components analysis to turn multiple indicators into a single comprehensive indicator and make comparison between them. And draw conclusions: Yangtze River waterway and basin economy is in a state of basic coordination. Even in recent years, Yangtze River waterway construction lags behind basin economy development. Finally, we appeal government to invest more capital improving Yangtze waterway.
