Abstract
This paper describes a finite difference time domain analysis of finite array of Already designed vivaldi Antennas, including four vivaldi antenna with a ground plane. The effect of diffraction due to finite ground planes, variation in phase velocity, frequency-dependent impedance, interaction between elements and detailed field structures is taken into account. The current distribution, coupling between elements, radiation pattern are calculated. The computed results of the vivaldi antenna array in 12-18 GHz frequency band agree very well with experimental results.
