Abstract :
Signal analysis is particularly important in cardiology decision making, with the electrocardiogram (ECG) providing important information for differential diagnosis. In the work described here, a comprehensive hybrid system for differential diagnosis in cardiology is discussed. It comprises a rule-based expert system, a non-statistical neural network, and chaotic signal analysis. The method is illustrated in an example of differential diagnosis in cardiology
