Abstract
A complex continuous wavelet transform (CCWT) was introduced to derive the bi-directional Doppler time-frequency representation (TFR) from in-phase and quadrature Doppler signals. The mathematical theory of this method was presented. This method was applied in simulated and practical in-phase and quadrature Doppler signals of the femoral artery, together with the processing results. The CCWT is a straightforward technique for deriving bi-directional Doppler TFR
