Abstract :
In recent decades, reticulated structure is widely used in large span spatial structures in China. It shows a trend of increasing span and more complicated. Based on the development of reticulated structures manufacturing industry both domestic and abroad, and the successful application experience of advanced manufacturing technology in other industries, a bolt-ball Joints CAD/CAM system for CNC machine is proposed in reticulated structure design software. It aims to build an integrated platform for engineering design and automatic machining. The external and internal manufacturing process of the reticulated structure is firstly introduced in the paper. Then a comprehensive study on the machining accuracy of bolt ball and the error of bar cutting are given. Finally, an integration solution of Bolt-ball net frame Structure CAD/CAM system on Solid Works platform is discussed. The work has theoretical significance and practical value.
