  • Abstract
    Time series analysis is difficult to understand. But when they are transformed into symbolic sequences, it will be more easily to find out some rules. Symbolic sequence may represent the dynamic behavior of some chaotic systems. We propose a new approach to transform time series into symbolic sequences, which can maintain most of the information included in time series. We also give an example of its application
