Abstract :
E-plane circulator with the exact three-dimensional electromagnetic field theory is studied in consideration of surface modes. Circulator with one ferrite disk is analysed for the first time. The performances are calculated by optimization. On the basis of this analysis, a Ka-band E-plane circulator has been developed, the experimental result is satisfactory.
