Abstract :
Twenty-five wild Colisa lalia having variable sizes ranging from 2.9-5.7 cm total length (TL), 2.2-4.5 cm standard length and 0.57-3.56 gm wet body weight (W) were sampled for analysis of body composition parameters in relation to body size and condition factor. It was observed that highly significant inverse correlation exists between % water and % protein (wet weight). Body weight has a negative influence on % water contents and has positive influence on % protein (wet weight). Total length has inverse correlation with % water content and positive influence on % protein (wet weight). Condition factor has positive influence on % water contents and inverse correlation with % ash (wet weight).
