Abstract :
This research proposes new symmetrical bandpass filters based on coplanar waveguide (CPW) structures. The filters were computer designed at the operating frequency of 2 GHz. The experimental and simulation results of the proposed filters were in good agreement with low passband insertion loss (∼3 dB) and high return loss (greater than 10 dB). The size of the proposed filters were also decreased ∼50% of the conventional one.
