Abstract :
Ultrasound images suffer from inherent geometric distortions due to variations in sound speed within the body. A new algorithm for warping and compounding two distorted B-mode images into a quality-enhanced image is introduced. The algorithm, which uses two distant viewpoints, was tested. Our simulations demonstrate superior results compared to existing approaches
