Abstract
In heterogeneous sensor networks, nodes may have a certain energy level distribution, how to get balance energy consumption and prolong the life span of wireless sensor network (WSN) is one of core issues in WSN. Focus on the issues; this paper put forward a dynamic adaptive routing protocol for heterogeneous WSN. This protocol includes topology control and multi-path routing algorithms.Simulation and analysis show that the protocol can achieve an effective energy consumption balance, and significantly prolong the life span of the WSN.
