Abstract :
Test specimens of the 50...80 GHz diffraction radiation oscillator with a grating like a chain of coupled resonators - DRO(CCR) - are presented. The CW output power reaches 20 W at the accelerating voltage 3.6 kV, the spectral characteristics of the output signal are suited to modern studies in experimental physics. A possibility is shown for the further improvement of the DRO(CCR) performance in the 30 to 100 GHz frequency region.
