Abstract :
Information modernization is an essential process for ore sinter plant. In order to improve information interaction capability, a data acquisition system is designed by integrated OPC (OLE for Process Control), networks and database technology. Its frame is schemed with three layers, i.e. industrial field devices, industrial controllers and information interaction computers. And two kinds of application instances of this frame are discussed. According requirements of data acquisition for ore sinter process, an information communication module is presented and it consists of data acquisition channel, information communication networks and data management interface. A kind of communication mechanism is designed for information interaction between instances of the data acquisition process. The mechanism includes a set of dispose schemes for abnormal socket connecting and a data packing method for information interaction. With Visual C++ programming tool and object orient method, the communication module is realized by combined socket technique. Industrial application indicates that the proposed frame and its instances in this paper are flexible and valid schemes for sinter data acquisition.
