Abstract
The most important information obtained by thermographic tests is not the absolute value of the temperature itself, but rather its distribution on space or time variables. Here, the authors propose an effective imaging method for infrared thermographic systems. Especially, it is applied to the change of blood flow detection in the infrared images. This purpose is achieved by using an image-subtraction technique and a spatio-temporal filter for motion enhancement. Through simulation results, it is shown that the change of blood flow is detected clearly
