Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to present a suitable model for an LDMOS class AB amplifier used for DVB-T program broadcasting. We first compare the most common amplifier´s models and explain why the memoryless Abuelma´Atti model based on Bessel expansion series of in-phase and quadrature input components seems to constitute the best tradeoff for this particular application. Then a simple digital predistorter using Look Up Tables is described and its performances are illustrated in terms of BER.
