Abstract :
Describes a method for producing image volumes from only two orthogonally oriented projections. A merging technique is re-introduced and methods for visualizing composite image volumes using linear ray summing and nonlinear maximum intensity approaches are compared. A right cylinder phantom and a clinical angiogram served as the authors´ image subjects. Projections were made of the composite volumes and the resulting visual content was observed and reported. These projections can be made from any viewing orientation
