Abstract
With the development of power line communication (PLC), more and more services based on high speed transmission such as Internet Access, HDTV in Smart Home are increasing. This tendency requires modeling for indoor power line channel. This paper mainly focuses on the multipath problem for indoor power line channel. The characteristic of signal propagation is analyzed and the statistical characterization of channel model is exerted, which shows a good agreement with the previous model but even more practical because of time variant property.
