Abstract :
We investigated the electrical and physical parameters and characteristics of the discrete waveguide attenuator of 8-mm wavelength range based on volume and integrating p-i-n-structures and the optimization was made. For experimental investigations of electrically controlled attenuators we have selected the samples of wanted parameters such as low-frequency control power, passing losses, switching rate, operating frequency range, control input currents and reverse voltage. We were investigating concrete electrically controlled attenuators layout where a circulator and two electricallly controlled switch were integrated.
