Abstract :
Distributed approximating functional wavelets, visual group normalization, and nonlinear sharpening are combined to generate a perceptual signal processing method for mammograms. These are formulated to normalize the coefficients, remove perceptual redundancy and obtain optimal visualization of the important diagnostic features
