Document Retrieval Based on Key Information of Sentence

Most of the document retrieval systems are limited to the query processing based on keywords. Some question answering systems are more efficient in understanding the natural language questions and responding on it. The major deficiency in such systems is that these systems do not take into account the semantic relation between the nouns and verbs. In this paper we used the relation between the nouns and the verbs in a sentence. The subject verb and object of a sentence are identified as the key information in the processing phase. For the purpose we used the natural language processing method to parse and extract key information from sentences in the document. We then perform semantically related keyword search in the extracted key information to retrieve the document.
