  • Abstract
    — Recent advances in the technologies of ICs have highlighted the usefulness of the attractive and elegant current-mode circuit solutions in a large number of signal processing applications. This paper discusses effect of scaling two different CCII circuits: one is based on current mirrors, and second is based on a differential pair. The authors have simulated above two configurations using different process technologies: AMS 0.5µm CMOS technology, TSMC 0.35µm CMOS technology and TSMC 0.25µm CMOS technology and the results are also tabulated for comparison. The authors have measured terminal impedances, gain, bandwidth and offset using Eldo SPICE tool.
