Abstract :
We present a novel audio watermarking scheme that uses pulse position modulation to obtain high robustness against watermark attacks. The watermark embedding and detection are based on the spread spectrum method in the time domain. Perceptual transparency of the algorithm is confirmed with listening tests, while the method showed high robustness against standard watermarking attacks, with detection bit error rates below the ones obtained by the standard spread spectrum method.
