  • Abstract
    We report on homogeneous bottom-emitting 4×8 InGaAs VCSEL arrays for high bit rate data transmission. Bit-error rates of better than 1011 for 500 m of multimode fiber transmission at 1 Gbit/s bias-free and 8 Gbit/s biased operation are achieved
