Abstract
Computer-mediate communication (CMC), an electronic information exchange tool has been becoming an integral part of work and living for moderns. A preliminary study is proposed to discover schema changes of Skype users. The longitudinal interpretive Grounded theory approach was applied in this study. Three findings were discovered in this paper. First, the social influence model plays an important role. Second, Skype users will increase their enjoyment if it is at a lower fee or free. And lastly, Skype´s application provider should improve its capability and provide more new functions to sustain the user´s agreeable experience.
