Abstract :
Frequency steering in series fed phased array radar has been used as an advantage. However, when instantaneous large bandwidth is required at a single scan position to satisfy system requirements, then frequency dispersion must be mitigated. The author looks into the causes of frequency dispersion in series fed phased arrays. Graphs of this effect on beam position and array factor pattern perturbation are presented
