  • Abstract
    A photonic ATM front-end processor using integrated 1×2 (semiconductor optical amplifier) SOA switches, following strictly the ATM format, and operating at near 2.5 Gb/s is demonstrated. Results on cell delineation, VCI overwriting, cell synchronization are presented
