Abstract :
A statistical analysis of the two-dimensional parametric model is performed. This analysis serves to characterize the uncertainty of estimated scattering parameters as a function of the radar system parameters. Mature estimation performance bounds are evaluated for X-band, K-band, and ultra wideband synthetic aperture radar scenarios
