  • Abstract
The system performance and limitations of 50-GHz spaced N×2.5 Gb/s transmissions has been experimentally studied in a 5×100 km long link over both G.652 and non-zero dispersion shifted (NZ-DSF) fibres. With G.652 fibre, per-channel powers as high as +6 dBm can be used against +1 dBm maximum in the case of NZ-DSF
