Abstract
Starting from the actual needs of network management, such as cabling topology graph auto-discovery which also contains room address-switch ports mapping mainly used in the post-maintenance, a method of hardware and software system integration solution to the management of practical problems encountered is proposed. To facilitate the integration, a telnet supported method of device interoperability based on XML access model and producer-customer-monitor operation model is also proposed. This method is not only simple, efficient, low-cost, but also scalable, which could be used to make thorough excavation of other valuable information.
