  • Abstract
    A small-sized and low-cost optical transceiver module has been developed for a single-fiber “ping-pong” optical data link. A new half-transmittance photodiode, and a 1.3 μm-MQW-LD are arranged in a straight line. Fiber output power of 0 dBm and receiver sensitivity of -38.3 dBm at B.E.R.=10-8 were obtained at 50 Mbps burst mode
