Abstract
The analysis on the response characteristic of array induction logging is the basis of accurate logging interpretation. The response of tools is affected by the factors such as borehole diameter, resistivity of mud, mud invasion because of the complex logging circumstances. Based on the theory of Born geomatrical factor, this paper analyzed the 1D and 2D response characteristic of the HRAI tool. Through establishing different formation models, we computed the corresponding responses of the HRAI tool. The results showed that the curves were seriously affected by factors as skin effect, borehole diameter, resistivity of mud, mud invasion, etc. And the situation of those factors is complicated. So we must consider the affection of circumstances on the logging data comprehensively and process the data appropriately to get accurate results in logging interpretation.
