  • Abstract
    A 1580 nm band all-optical ADM mode consisting of automatic gain-controlled optical pre- and post- amplifiers, add/drop multiplexing filters, optical switches, and channel-by-channel level equalizers is developed. The prototype node has a wide input dynamic range and good stability against fast input power transitions
