Abstract :
We report the successful 10 Gb/s transmission over a network link consisting of 4 wavelength selective cross connects (WSXC) and 200 km fiber with a measured power penalty of 1.8 dB. We demonstrate the transmission of a 10 Gb/s signal through such an optical network over a link consisting of equivalent of 4 reconfigurable WSXCs and 200 km of TrueWaveTM fiber
