Abstract :
Wireless node positioning technology is an internal demand of wireless sensor network, under this background, an improving localization algorithm which based on RSSI multilateral positioning has been researched in the paper. First, we established a mapping relationship between RSSI and distance based Log-distance Path Loss Model. Then utilized the weighted average recursive filtering algorithm and smooth factor to do a simple process for the RSSI signal which is collected from the front end of RF hardware, after so, the interference from the noise signal had been effectively reduced. Through it, the system can provide more accurate source signal for distance ranging. Subsequently, in order to effectively reduce the influence caused by unilateral ranging error in the calculation of multilateral positioning and improve the positioning precision, we have proposed an adjacent correction positioning algorithm on the base of the multilateral positioning to decrease the influence of unilateral ranging error in the calculation of multilateral positioning. Simulation and actual test showed that the improved algorithm enhances the system´s accuracy and stability.
