Abstract :
Because of the difference of decoding and displaying order, special process is required for frame unit based DTV transport splicing. This paper proposed an accurate TS splicing method. This method applies video transcoding techniques to change picture coding type and bitrate, so that TS can be spliced accurately. In addition, TS multiplex strategy is also used to guarantee no STD buffer overflow occurs.
