  • Abstract
We demonstrate for the first time a millimetre-wave fibre-radio system incorporating broadband radio CDMA. We show that the spreading of the radio spectrum in CDMA can also reduce the impact of fibre dispersion. We present the first experimental analysis of a fibre-radio system that incorporates broadband radio CDMA. A BER of less than 10-9 was obtained for a mm-wave broadband 10 Mb/s direct-sequence CDMA signal after transmission over 25 km of SSMF and a 1 m radio link
