Abstract
Error-free 40 Gbit/s OTDM transmission over 150 km utilising all-optical signal processing was successfully demonstrated. The cores of the present transmission experiment are picosecond optical pulse generation, optical clock extraction, and the picosecond optical gating all obtained by mode-locked laser diode devices
