Abstract :
The target of this paper is to enhance the precision of existent chaotic particle swarm optimization algorithm in the nonlinear optimizations problems. For this aim, a one-dimensional chaotic search pattern using improved tent map is introduced. This new pattern can also be combined with particle swarm optimization algorithm. The novel hybrid algorithm is validated for several test functions and the experimental results demonstrate its efficiency and precision to obtain global optimal solution.
