  • Abstract
    A method to construct an inverse linear quadratic regulator of neutral systems with time varying delay is proposed. This method is a natural extension of one for retarded systems. Under a suitable condition, the stability and the optimality of the closed loop system are shown. Based on it, a design procedure is demonstrated with a numerical example.
