Abstract
Hybrid polymer gel electrolyte for lithium battery has been successfully prepared from a mixture of sol-gel derived siloxane and etylene glycol polymers blended with electrolyte lithium salt. The electrochemical impedance shows no oxidation or reduction originated from this hybrid polymer gel. The impedance characteristics of this polymer gel are contributed from ion polarization at high frequency region and diffusion limited ion migration at mid to low frequency region.
