Abstract :
EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) is the key to support the business processes among different application systems within an enterprise. Based on the intranet, EAI realizes secure and effective transmission of information and instructions among different applications within the enterprise via protocol conversion and data transmission services. Being a loose coupling set up between the applications releasing services and the applications using services, the integration based on Web services is very flexible. It can integrate various heterogeneous systems to the current system easily and quickly, thus effectively promoting the implementation of EAI. By introducing the principles of Web services, this document proposes an enterprise application integration framework based on Web services. This framework uses a layer service model and features cross-platform, flexibility, easy expansion, loose coupling, and distributed, and thus can better satisfy the development requirements of enterprise information systems. In a word, by using the current applications, Web services combine and generate new services, and thus provide higher flexibility for enterprises to build applications and business processes.
