Abstract :
As the HF sky-wave ionosphere changing, Its useable frequencies not only ensure the quality and pass rates of the existing communication lines but also an indispensable part of a new design communication line. In the case of scarce practical data and priori knowledge, a complete and concise procedure for calculating the MUF and LUF of HF sky wave propagation is proposed in this paper by using and optimizing the available independent and disperse models reasonably. And the results were compared with the test results, it shows that this method has certain reference value and engineering application value.
