  • Abstract
    Water quality management plays a very important role in fish life and aquatic product quality. Due to the bad water quality, the fish was sick even to die, the survival rate of the fry was declined and the income of the fishery was seriously affected. So a decision support system for aquaculture water quality evaluation and early-warning (AWQEE-DSS) was attempted. The paper was based on the monitored data in the aquaculture pond in North China for two year and the experience of the domain expert. AWQEE-DSS consists of six bases and four sub-systems. The bases include large monitored datum, correlative concept, met knowledge, inference engine, marvelous atlas of freshwater biota in China, evaluation models and methods. A WQEE-DSS can provide the result of evaluation and early warning for fisherman and the expert, the management countermeasure for the water quality to the fisherman. A WQEE-DSS also can provide the predicting datum of the factor according to the long time monitored datum and partial monitored datum real-time
