Abstract
The Institute for Certification of Computer Professionals (ICCP), offers the most widely recognized and distributed certification examinations in the profession. The ICCP offered a Systems Security specialty exam for the first time in May 1991. The exam is intended for senior information systems professionals responsible for the management of an organization´s systems security. The candidate should have a broad general knowledge of systems security theory gained through formal education and have practiced as a systems security professional in progressively more responsible assignments
