Abstract :
This paper discusses the influence of scientific knowledge on the formulation of management concepts. The effect of scientific knowledge on management can be direct in the form of methodological principles of activity, or indirect influencing such areas as policy, economics, and ethics. The post-nonclassical model of science provides the opportunity to review initial postulates of previous scientific models as well as the processes that take place in social systems and at the opportunities to manage them in a different way. This post-nonclassical model of scientific knowledge promotes a synergetic approach, which can be used to address many of the current management issues.
