The rural modern distance education project in China has created a digital teaching and learning environment for rural K-12 schools in the West, this will inevitably bring series of challenges to traditional instructional models. This essay made a comparative analysis of the instructional model under such environment and traditional instructional model, and discussed the characteristics of each technique Mode offered by project, then put forward several important models suitable for each environment in order to provide references for rural teachers´ teaching practice.
